This Line up includes the very best of The Resistance Comedy Players, who have appeared on a number of our shows including a new debut from a Comedy Regular making a storm across UK and International Scene:

Enfield's Own Michael Akadiri (MC) (BBC Comedy Awards)
London based, born and bred stand up comic who has been tipped by ‘One to Watch’ by Amused Moose, has in his short career to date, won London’s notorious King Gong and has reached the finals of the 2019 Amused Moose New National Comic Award.

Jerry Bakewell
Britain’s most unsuccessful Mexican wrestler. Weighing in at 17 and a half stone, Jerry Bakewell is Britain's most unsuccessful Mexican wrestler and Europe's heaviest light entertainer. Winner of the 1993 Les Dennis Bravery Award, Jerry was recently described as a laugh every other minute, following a one and a half minute set.

Darran Griffiths
A comedian, host and podcaster born and raised in Harlow, to Jamaican parents, he has a blend of Caribbean confidence and Essex irreverence. Flagrant, thought provoking and funny.

Georgie Morrell
As seen and heard on BBC Radio 4, Dave, Channel 5 and BBC Ouch. As seen and heard on BBC Radio 4, Dave, Channel 5 and BBC Ouch. Georgie took her debut 4 star stand up show, A Poke in the Eye, to Edinburgh Fringe 2016 which transferred to the Soho Theatre. She is currently writing for Silver Salt film Films, has an optioned TV pilot and presents Sounds of the Silver Screen on RNIB Connect radio.

Kazeem Jamal
Bursting on to the comedy scene, with the confidence and stage charisma of acts who have been in the business for decades, Kazeem is proving himself to be a fine addition to the comedy circuit.

Eleanor Conway
Comedian and presenter who has been performing nationwide since 2010. A Second City alumni, Eleanor took her five star interactive comedy head to head, Comedy Rumble to Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2012 and 2013 which then went onto have a three month sell out run at The Comedy Cafe and then optioned for development by Lion TV. Eleanor’s pre comedy background was in music and entertainment presenting and has produced and presented for V Festivals and Ministry of Sound in Australia, USA, Canada and the UK interviewing Justin Bieber, Kesha, Oasis and 50 Cent.
